Medical Assisting is an exciting qualification for general practice staff, designed to equip graduates to perform the wide range of administrative and clinical assisting tasks required in the general practice setting.

The Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting was first developed by GPpartners Ltd in collaboration with GPs, practice staff, practice nurses and in 2007 was incorporated into the National Health Training Package (HLT07).

The Metro North Brisbane Medicare Local and Healthfirst Training Australia offer the Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting in Queensland. Healthfirst Training Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and provider of Nationally Accredited Qualifications from the Health Training Package.
