Our Provider Services and eHealth Services teams are able to help local health professionals access the Medicare Local's services as well as assist health professionals to enhance their service delivery.
Our Provider Liaison team can assist with:
- chornic disease management and prevention
- medical / health practice management, including accreditation and HR
- data management and software training
- MBS item requirements
- health initiatives for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- public health issues, including immunisation and vaccine management
- support for medical practice nurses and practice managers
Our eHealth Services team are available to assist general practices and other medical practices to improve their e-health capabilities. Ask the team about:

- templates and referral tools, including eReferrals
- telehealth
